
HACK@CODE – micro:bit Competition
Results will be out really soon!
Teams (up to 4 members per team) are to build and program a micro:bit robot to complete the mission and score as much points as possible within the given time limit. There will be 2 categories:

- Junior Category (Age 7 to 12 i.e. Primary 1 to Primary 6)
- Senior Category (Age 13 to 16, Secondary 1 & 4)
The Theme for the mission is called Smart Warehouse Challenge.
The mission will simulate an autonomous warehouse where the objective is to program your robot to collect the goods and bring them to the collection point and return to the docking station.
Objectives

- Collecting goods – move the goods/prop out of their starting position and fully outside their box to score
- Dropping off goods – bring the goods/prop to the collection point and ensure that they are fully inside the box to score
- Docking – bring your robot to the end zone and ensure that it is fully inside the box to score

Mission Details

- Robot size is 25cm x 25cm x 25cm (LxBxH).
- The run time for the mission is 150 seconds.
- The goods/props does not need to be upright to score if it is fully inside the collection point.
- Robot platform is micro:bit
- Any motor, sensor, extension or parts is allowed so long as the controller is a micro:bit
- Any programming software or language is allowed.

Rules for Robot Run Video
- Video of the run cannot be edited. It must be taken in one take.
- The resolution of the video must be at least 720p.
- A stopwatch/timer must be shown throughout the entire video.
- The video must show the entire playfield in landscape orientation.
- Email your entries to us at hackcode2051@gmail.com latest by 18 November 2022, 2359hrs.
- Name the video file with your school’s name followed by your team’s name.

Certificates
Certificates will be handed out to the teams and participants base on their scores for the run.
